Terms of service

By using slopaf you agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the content policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

You must be at least 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, ask a parent or guardian before you play.

• •Your account is tied to the browser where you created it. Clear that browser's storage and you lose the only credential that signs you back in. We can't recover it for you.
• •You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• •Player names follow the content policy. We can change or remove a name, or a whole account, if they don't.
• •Don't try to get into anyone else's account, and don't use several accounts to get around a rule or a block.

Be decent, and don't:

• •attack, overload or probe our servers, or other players' connections;
• •tamper with a game, its network traffic or another player's session to cheat;
• •automate the arcade beyond normal browsing, for example with matchmaking bots or mass account creation;
• •use slopaf for anything illegal, or in a way that breaks the content policy.

You own what you write. When you post chat, pick a player name or send us a message, you give us a license to store and show it as needed to run slopaf, for example to show your chat to the other players in your room. The license ends when the content is deleted.

You are responsible for what you post. We don't review chat before it appears. You can report a player or a message.

Games in the arcade belong to their creators and are offered under the creator's own terms; where a game is open source, its license applies too.

Games are experimental and often built with AI. They can be buggy or strange, and they can change or disappear without notice.

If you send a game through the submission form:

• •You keep ownership. Nothing you submit becomes ours.
• •You promise you made it, or have the right to submit it, including its code, art, audio and any AI-generated material, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break the content policy.
• •You let us review and test the game and, if we list it, host it and show its name, description, screenshots and player counts on slopaf for as long as it is listed.
• •We don't have to list it, and listing it doesn't oblige us to keep it listed. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

slopaf is a small, changing service. We try to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available, free of errors or safe from data loss. Servers may restart and interrupt a match, and a match interrupted this way can't be resumed. We may change, pause or stop any part of slopaf, including removing games or ending accounts.

You can stop using slopaf at any time. We can suspend or end access, for one player, one game or the whole service, if these terms are broken, if someone is put at risk, or for legal or technical reasons.

To the extent the law allows, slopaf and the games on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that they will meet your needs, work without interruption or be free of bugs. Games made with AI can behave in surprising ways.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from your use of slopaf. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says can't be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using slopaf after a change means you accept it.
